Pros & Cons Of The Vertical Project By Luke Lowrey

Ok here is another big review of the TheVerticalProject-Luke Lowrey. Even when I was reading it could smell that over promotion of product. The guy could have as well written just buy it! But then that is how people review the stuff.

My take from this article is the Pros & Cons of the project

Pros-

-Tons of extras - who doesn't like extras? - The program has lot of really useful bonuses. each of them designed to meet your particular need.

-The exercise AND recovery program is suited for YOU - The program is designed so that anyone who is physically fit can start. Like I am 24 but it was no problem for me to get the ball rolling.

-the information is invaluable (helps with overall health)

Cons-

-A bit pricey but worth it

-A bit of reading but if you're serious about your goals, reading shouldn't be a factor

I will add one pro and one con on basis of personal experience.

Pro: You will never have to search on internet for help on increasing your vertical leaps. This product has nearly all the information that could be find free over internet. It is a like a big collection of everything that is on internet put together at one place. A Lot of people say that this kind of information is available over internet, but there is no such collection. You can waste days searching for this kind of tips and advices. This is the only sureshot guide that can increase your vertical leap. I have been looking around but only this program provides you with a definite plan that you will double your leap.

Con: Needs you to do the exercise. Don't think of it is a magic pill.

Overall verdict: Works!

The Vertical Project by Luke Lowrey Reviewed - Increased That Vertical Jump Lately?
By J J Kim

So, to many kids these days, sports are everything. What is one common theme in all of them? To become great, one needs to become better than everyone else. To be stronger, faster and quick witted are all part of the package in dominating in whatever sport. Optimists will say, "No it's all about the team effort." Sure, that's true too but the team is only strong as it's weakest link and what if you are the weakest link in that team? And to be real, I'm a realist, who doesn't want to be better than everyone else. Who doesn't want to be able to dunk a ball and see the astounded faces of people in the crowds. So in this installment of my reviews, I am going to review a book that has made worlds of difference in many athletes as well as myself. This book is centered for athletes that want to improve their vertical jump(especially vertical), speed/quickness and overall athleticism.

As I was scouring the internet for books on becoming a better athlete I stumbled upon this interesting little gem. I spent hundreds of hours and money on looking for books that could increase my speed and vertical. So if you have a lot of money to spend and too lazy to read this little review and want to try out the other books first, go and try the others.... Let me say right now, I literally did half the work that was expected of me in the program and I was able to increase my vertical by 2-3 inches in only a month.

Luke Lowrey is the author of this book and when I came upon the sales page...I read through the sales hype...all of it...all the great comments and the like. It was quite interesting... I'm usually really skeptical when it comes to buying things, cause hey, I'm asian and I don't like spending my money on things that aren't worth it, but then again who does? I'm going to be brutally honest..the only downfall of this book is the cost, which as of right now is $297 but let me say that it's well worth the investment if you're determined and looking to become better in almost any type of sport. It supposedly is supposed to rise to a much higher price in the future.

Right when I got the book, The Vertical Project, I was amazed by the bonus features that it contained. There is this one bonus, which I can't say, that really increases your vertical dramatically, if done right and don't occur any injuries. The other bonuses where just as good and worthwhile reading and implementing in the training. He also gives his buyers free updates when a new version comes out. When this book was written, it was written well...really well. The point that most other programs fail to remember is that not every athlete is the same but this program compensates for that in that it tailors the training to your athletic ability. It's very thorough in explaining everything. This isn't for the vertical gaining enthusiasts. You're paying about $3oo and it gives you that amount of good info (you get what you pay for). It starts by telling you how to create and implement the right diet during training, the right way to recover, in this book called the "Window Plan" and last but not least he gives the training schedule as well as a chart to follow, all depending on what your skill level is.

I don't really have to say more except to invest the money in this program and stick to the training schedule that it gives you. Again, you can spend 20-30 dollars on the other cheaper vertical jump programs but they won't give the results as this program does. He even gives you a solid guarantee that this program will work. Most programs guarantee things but this one is one worth trusting.

Pros-

-Tons of extras - who doesn't like extras?

-The exercise AND recovery program is suited for YOU

-the information is invaluable (helps with overall health)

Cons-

-A bit pricey but worth it

-A bit of reading but if you're serious about your goals, reading shouldn't be a factor

Overall If I had to give this book a grade it'd be around a 97%. The only downfall is that it is a little pricey and bit of a length to read, but again well worth it. Good Luck and don't forget to actually go and USE the program-

How To Review TheVerticalProject Program

This one is for parents. If you are looking for a program to increase vertical leap of your kids then this article also recommends TheVerticalProject. However this article brings out three important background checks.

1- The BBB. Do your work and make a check into their record.

This blog is just to help you do that, a collection of all reviews and articles or comments regarding the verticalproject. So go through the articles. Testimonials are there on the website itself.

2- Make sure the product is endorsed by reputable professionals. This way if you know the endorser you can always locate them. I would be willing to bet a product endorsed by a Cal Ripken would most likely be golden.

I liked this advice, I went to TheVerticalProject website to actually check what kind of endorsments does his guy has. Very few web sites have such high authority testimonials. Here are few of them

    • John Kim ,Creator of Jumpsoles ,President, JumpUSA
    • Ganon Baker ,World's #1 Individual Hoops Trainer
    • Sylvester Stein, Chairman, Peak Performance

Could have been better but good enough!

3- Guarantees that last long enough to really give the product it's due, and not just a hollow promise. Thirty days should be a MINIMUM!

You can't beat TheVerticalProject at this. Luke Lowrey has chosen Clickbank as vendor. They are the #1 company for digital products and they give an eight week, no hassle complete money back guarantee. Just send a mail to them and your money is back. Not even Luke Lowrey can stop that. For me its like an endorsment that this product is genuinely good. Why would otherwise someone give you to test a product for eight weeks!

I think with this guarantee should make the purchase decission too easy. If you are still thinking about it then this is the time to visit the site. - http://www.theverticalproject.com/

or you might be waiting to read the entire article.. just read through it.

Jump Higher With Luke Lowery's Amazing Training Program - The Real Deal!

Scott Diez

We live in a country with an overabundance of importance placed on sports. A disproportionate amount of young kids are reared by parents who think the most important thing in the world is "who won on Sunday"! This burdens young start up athletes with pressures that start with their little league teams, and their over zealous parents, all the way up to the major sports leagues, where cheating is often overlooked and encouraged (see Major League baseball).

Becoming a respected Doctor or Lawyer should bring many accolades. Young athletes, however, are often met with a sneer if academics is their glowing achievement. See the word "geeks" for that explanation and it's associated connotation.

Since the advent of the internet a new charlatan has blossomed. The one that makes claims that can't be substantiated and exploits the athletes obsession with getting their 5 minute highlight on Sports Center. Many "alleged" experts will go to any length to capitalize on the billions being made on sports nutrition, training regimens etc. They feed on the frenzy of prospective athlete's dreams.

Claims such as "throw 10 miles faster" and "run like a deer" are common place.

The question becomes "How do diligent, grounded parents and advisors safeguard their young athletes from these slick marketed promotions?

The general answers are obvious!

1- The BBB. Do your work and make a check into their record.

2- Make sure the product is endorsed by reputable professionals. This way if you know the endorser you can always locate them. I would be willing to bet a product endorsed by a Cal Ripken would most likely be golden.

3- Guarantees that last long enough to really give the product it's due, and not just a hollow promise. Thirty days should be a MINIMUM!

Luke Lowery, whose training methods have helped many world class athletes double their leaping ability (www.jumplikeapro.com) though not a household name, has many credible references and endorsements. His site is a plethora of regular athletes and credible professionals who back up his claims. He also gives a 60 day guarantee.

Basketball, Football, Baseball and Track stars go to Luke and his program to help them increase their leaping abilities.

"You see, I'm regarded by all these pro athletes... top American, Asian and European coaches... NBA, NFL, NCAA, ATP Tennis tour, UEFA football, Olympic teams... and over 4,000 regular athletes just like you... as the World's Undisputed #1 Vertical Leap Expert... and have been, ever since an elite training facility in Houston, Texas labeled me this over 3 years ago."

Luke understands the need to substantiate any claims with unquestioned information and sources.

Many websites, though, have pseudo- fictitious names and no physical way of contacting the companies principles. This is a major red flag!

Be cognizant of the many who are just in it to make a buck! It only takes a small fraction of the money spent in the sports product industry to make a shrewd person a lot of money.

As a society, sports is on an undeserved pedestal that should be reserved for teachers and life savers. Sports helps promote interaction, and physical well being for kids, and has it's redeeming value to our nation; but unfortunately, many use it as a catapult to their own devious self interests.

The word to the wise and parents out there "Buyer beware".

For every Luke Lowery at www.jumplikeapro.com there are ruthless purveyors of false information costing parents and their young athletes millions of dollars.

A Serious Recommendation For TheVerticalProject - Luke Lowrey

Interesting article. This program tries to explain why it is so important to increase your vertical leap. But if you are on my blog that means you already know that, you might as well skip this article. My take from the article were some points like -

  • The owner of best vertical leap is Harlem Globetrotter Michael “Wild Thing” Wilson, who can rise 55 inches off the ground, and holds the world record for dunking on a 12' basketball net.
  • The dominant amount of force production in a vertical leap is accomplished in the hips, you will see that optimal range of motion is very necessary. Your vertical leap is a measure of the power in your hips, thighs and lower legs.
  • The Vertical Project is currently the #1 vertical leap program. This vertical leap program is a comprehensive guide to increasing your vertical jump. The program trains 4 key areas to jump higher. It explains and incorporates the training that you need to jump higher and increase your vertical leap.

I must say that you can take this guys above given recommendation for TheVerticalProject seriously. Among all reviews that I read this one guy seem to actually know the stuff.

How to increase vertical leap is incredibly important for athletes. The first thing you need to do to increase vertical leap is to find the best vertical jump - vertical leap program that meets your needs as an athlete. An Interesting Article On One Of The Experiment Conducted On A Group Of Students With VerticalProject

My review of the The Vertical Project started with this post,  I found it on ezinearticles. The article looked like a blatant promotion to me but it mentioned a few name that I could verify as right testimonials so I included it here.  I think the only taking from this article for me was:

"The Vertical Project asked a group of 150 students to try out the system and afterwards, write their reports about it. After the sixty-day trial, all 150 students have given positive feedback about the Vertical Project system. Each of them had an increased vertical leap within sixty days or less."

Read the entire article below:

Another article on body co-ordination for vertical leap!

This article has lot of stuff regarding how the body works for that vertical leap and how you can maximize the results - Here is the stuff about Luke Lowrey

There is a guy named Luke Lowrey. He has, for the better part of three years, had elite level and every day coaches, trainers and athletes from around the world flock to him eager to learn about this unique UPN™, vertical jump advanced training and recovery system.

How to Increase Your Vertical Leap Results
By Joseph V. Formale

The problem I have when I'm playing basketball is that feeling that my feet are glued to the ground. I jump up and try to hit the net and, swish, nothing but air. I like to pride myself on my defensive skills but my lack of ability to get rebounds can put a damper on that positive feeling. Then there is when I try to spike a volleyball over the net just to have the ball hit the net and bounce right back into my face. Embarrassing!

It is important to understand that there are specific muscles that determine your vertical leap results. And as with any muscle you can strengthen these muscle groups through exercise and other daily activities to improve you vertical leap results. There is however, mathematics and science involved also and you need to understand the role they play in your leaping ability so that you can improve those skills also. Understanding the combination of these two areas and how to improve in both of them is key to maximizing your vertical leap results.

Realize that muscles do have a limit, but you can maximize your potential if you properly train and condition yourself. Your first focus should be on your calf muscles and quad muscles. These are the primary leaping muscles. Don't overdo it in the beginning because you can strain yourself. Start out with some calf raises, using both feet at the same time, and work your way up. Soon you'll be able to balance on one foot and use all your body weight to maximize effect. Focus on these muscle groups in your daily activities such as walking, do not walk flat footed and you'll notice a difference right away. Do squats to both stretch and strengthen your muscles at the same time. Do a lot of mini hops similar to jumping rope. Do lots of stretching, at least 3 times a day, working on the hamstrings, quads, hip-flexors, glutes and calves. It is important to stretch after your workouts, stretching before a workout actually decreases your power output. Weight train, concentrating on your posterior chain muscles (lower back, glutes and hamstrings). Your posterior chain accounts for up to 80% of the force generated for your jump. Lastly, muscles require at least 48 hours of rest to rebuild broken down muscle fibers. You'll notice that your calf muscles will get bigger on the days that you rest. Without proper rest, muscles will become immune to your physical routine, and may not increase in mass or strength. I'm just breaking the ice here; there is a ton of information on this subject for you to research.

So where do the mathematics and science come in. There is a number called the Uncompromised Performance Number (UPN). This UPN technology provides a viable way you can actually predict, document and plot the step by step vertical leap improvement of any athlete. It is performance, meeting hard mathematics and physics. No one regime of numbers will be the same from one athlete to another. The UPN system works exclusively to develop an athlete's power output capacity. UPN technology is to be implemented with only certain and specific types of exercises, not the usual ones your use to seeing in the gym. One example of an exercise is the Single Leg Hyperextension. This one exercise, combined with a subjective UPN based power put program, is easily the single most effective exercise ever devised for increasing single leg athletic power output.

There is a guy named Luke Lowrey.
